Air-Conditioned Warehouse Puller/Packer –

Redstone Foods, Inc. is hiring for our 1st shift Puller/Packer team. Our Puller/Packer employees are the heart of our candy and soda distribution operations. S/He shops a retail store’s order from a pick-list sheet across our 100,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned warehouse. Our ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, the drive to meet his/her lines per hour goals and the ambition to learn a variety of warehouse skills.

• The 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.
• There is mandatory overtime during peak seasons that include Saturdays.

This position may include but is not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

• Pull customer orders by following printed customer pick lists
• Locate and pull items by using the most efficient pathway in the warehouse
• Transport pulled items via a shopping cart or pallet jack to checking station to verify order accuracy
• Package customer orders by following proper protocols
• Participate in inventory cycle counts
• Keep warehouse organized and clean to maintain safety and health regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Positive can-do attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, push carts over 60 lbs,
• Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack and organize pallets
• Must be able to physically stand, reach, pull, bend, stoop and kneel for long periods of time
