Position: Seasonal Resident Relations Specialist

Reports To: Community Manager/Multi-Site Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

Time-Frame: May to September

POSITION SUMMARY

The Seasonal Resident Relations Specialist is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience for RedPeak residents and assist with day-to-day property operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Resident Experience (50%) – Put the resident first, by providing solutions, positive interactions, and extraordinary resident experiences to increase resident retention. Serve as a liaison between residents and the surrounding community to improve overall lifestyle.

  • Provide superior customer service with every interaction through a friendly approach, timely response and follow through resulting in increased satisfaction, reputation, renewals, and revenue.
  • Be present in the community office to greet and assist current and prospective residents.
  • Work with the Service Team to ensure any upcoming move-ins are taken care of and no issues will arise before move-in day occurs.
  • Inspect community grounds, vacancies, and common areas to ensure they are in top condition and represent community and RedPeak in a positive manner.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to resident emails in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Ensure community has a competitive price, product, and amenity package by shopping competitors. Coordinate and communicate community events that are relevant and appealing to the community culture.
  • Create marketing materials to communicate events manage community event budget.

Administration and Operations Support (50%) – Assist Community Manager in the smooth running and operation of the community.

  • Assist in ensuring the properties under management are maintained to the highest standards vs. comparable properties in the market.
  • Ensure property success and resident satisfaction through compliance and audits.
  • Serve as the resident liaison assisting and accommodating new, current, and departing residents with procedures and services, while always accurately documenting and completing all administrative requirements in logs and databases.
  • Maintain positive relations with all community vendors; provide vendors with applicable service expectations and obtain and approve bids for vendor-aided community projects ensuring coverage of necessary scope of work.

Physical Requirements

  • Physical requirements are minimal
  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work at a desk in front of a computer for extended periods of time
  • Weekend work may be required
  • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license

Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing degree) in business, communications, or related fields may be advantageous.

Desired Work Experience

  • Experience working in a customer service role.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with email and Internet platforms
