RedLine Resources is Hiring a Production Press Operator Near Macomb, MI
Job Scope The responsibility of the Production Press Operator is to run and operate machinery and equipment in a production environment. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Operate 800 ton to 2750-ton presses
Operate press to produce the desired number of pieces in accordance with the schedule and supervisors instructions
Clean and maintain press beds and areas surrounding work area
Set up and operation of progressive stamping dies
Assist die makers in identifying problems with the die
Assist maintenance with problem areas and equipment
Select and load correct coils into a de-coiler machine
Visually inspect parts from the stamping press
Set up conveyors, scrap chutes, scrap shakers
Read and apply measurements with a tape measurer
Accurately count the required number of parts
Recording down time-legible handwriting
Read, interpret, and apply information on a job set up sheet
Calculate shut heights
Transfer press controls, knowledge, set up, and finger placements
Use of various types of hand tools such as plyers, hammers, number and letter punches, small grinders for burr removal
Maintain a clean area including end of shift clean up
Follow required PPR, and all company and safety policies
Other duties as assigned

1 years’ press operation
Certified in Crane and Hilo
Excellent organizational & time management skills
Self-Motivated

Work Environment & Physical Demands
Regularly works around moving mechanical parts
Loud noise levels at times
Heavy industrial production environment
Frequently requires walking up to ½ mile at a time and stairs
Must have the ability to lift up to 65 lbs. to a height 3-4 ft
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, crawl, and walk
Needs to be able to carry, push, and pull parts with the proper training
Remain in a stationary position
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach
