About the Position:

The Service Coordinator is required to assist in leading the service team and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and technical abilities, along with a fluent understanding of financial objectives and is motivated to complete administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Service Department staff to develop and sustain a high level of employee performance and morale that is highly aligned with our mission and core values. 
  • Align and implement company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Bulletins and Campaigns
  • Coordinate the scheduling of service work according to priority and maintains a consistent orderly workflow.
  • Advises customers of necessary repair services and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly according to company guidelines.
  • Adhere to company’s work in process policy.
  • Promptly evaluates and reconditions trade-in equipment.
  • Ensures warranty claims are processed according to policy.
  • Completes PIP and campaigns according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintains in good condition all service tools and service vehicles.
  • Responsible for the maintaining safe facility, equipment, and operations.
  • Ensures service vehicles and drivers are properly maintained, road worthy, safe and in compliance with all regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure repairs are completed accurately, to dealer standards and inspects all completed work as appropriate.
  • Accountable for time record accuracy within the department including overtime, on call scheduling, and vacation approval.
  • Responsible for keeping shop area clean.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications or Requirements:

  • High School Diploma /GED required, with a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience preferred
  • Service/mechanical experience working with farm or other heavy equipment and/or diesel engines
  • Proven track record in customer service and communications required
  • Ability to use desktop or laptop computer, including Microsoft Office Suites is required.
