Estimator – Single Family Rental

Redi Carpet has a great opportunity for an estimator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team, reporting to the General Manager. The individual will play an impactful role to the company’s success by accurately measuring and creating take-offs via Measure Square (M2), creating bids, scheduling orders for installation, perform quality control walks on completed projects and submit invoicing via customer invoicing portal for all flooring types.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following)

• Perform accurate take-offs using a computer software program (Measure Square) and Microsoft Excel to ensure estimates follow the scope of work
• Prepare proposal/bid package for client presentation and review
• Scheduling orders for installation
• Perform QC walks on completed projects and submit invoicing via customer invoicing portal for all flooring types (carpet, tile, vinyl, etc.) in the Single-Family Rental market
• Develop relationship with suppliers for material pricing and value engineering exercises Ø Prepare proposal/bid package for client presentation and review

• Ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction, including demonstrating flexible work hours to accommodate demand and deadlines

Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in estimating (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and customer service skills
• Proficient at interpreting complex drawings and specifications knowledge in floor covering (carpet, tile, wood, and vinyl) (preferred)
• Strong ability to demonstrate strategic time management to ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction Ø Knowledge in floor covering (carpet, tile, wood, and vinyl) (preferred)
• Proficient at interpreting complex drawings and specifications
• Must be proficient with MS Office software, specifically Excel Ø Strong ability to multitask and quickly transition between tasks
• Minimum 1-year experience in estimating (preferred)
• Experience working with blueprints is preferred
• Must be coachable and well organized, and possess strong analytical skills
