****What Do We Do****

We are the Listing Data Acquisition team. We own data ingestion and transformation and normalization from Multiple Listing Services (MLS) and other data sources. We maintain the source of truth for Redfin to provide valuable and accurate data to our customers as well as agents.****The Role****

As part of an engineering team, develop and maintain data pipelines that populate the millions of homes on Redfin.com

Build tools that make the process of ingesting home data more scalable, efficient, and maintainable

Interface with Real Estate Operations to quickly fix any outstanding Consumer, Agent, or MLS compliance issues.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on home data to help inform business decisions and power new features****Desired Skills & Experience****

You have a strong knowledge of CS fundamentals & data structures

You are proficient in one of the following programming languages: Java or C#

You have proficiency with database fundamentals, experience with SQL queries

You are a quick learner. You can identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the current process and want the creative flexibility to drive solutions to remedy them

You are a strong advocate for customer experienceThis is a contractor position, and this position does not sponsor work-related visas.
