We offer an exciting role in an early-stage venture company owned by A.P. Moller Maersk with a dynamic and international team growing to ca. 20 colleagues. When joining Stillstrom you will become part of the Stillstrom technical group and report directly to the Chief Technical Officer. In this role you will become the driving force behind Stillstrom's digital excellence as the Design & Operation Software Lead Engineer. You will lead the way in tender, study, project software and digital architecture support, crafting software solutions for offshore charging excellence. Key responsibilities The Lead Engineer (Design & Operation Software) oversees all digital facets of Stillstrom's offshore charging solutions. Collaborating within a cross-disciplinary team, the role includes identifying and addressing potential interfaces affecting the digital system and consistently ensuring that solutions comply with industry regulations & standards and meet end-customer requirements. Key responsibilities include: Strict adherence to relevant internal and external processes, procedures, and standards Completion of digital deliverables in line with defined work scopes, considering technical and operational feasibility, end-user functional requirements, and fit-for-purpose implementation Being active in developing a robust Stillstrom safety culture, with digital security being a core competence Develop the (digital) user-experience for end-customers looking to design or operate an offshore charging infrastructure Effective use of Stillstrom lessons learnt databases to capture key learning and implementation in future electrical systems Develop effective relationships with key Suppliers and standardization bodies Manage Suppliers and Sub Contractors to ensure timely completion of digital product work scopes to Stillstrom standards and to agreed budgets Supporting the Business Development team in producing UI/UX examples and high-level digital architectures, establish software development costs and lead times, establish technical requirements and identifying key risks and mitigations Research and analyze the market to search out opportunities to further develop and enhance Stillstrom offshore charging (digital) solutions Providing input into operations and maintenance manuals and identifying digital system requirements Managing a 3rd party verification and compliance of digital infrastructure Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital system development, preferably in the mobility and/or offshore sector supported by a relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has: Hands-on experience within aspects of SCADA systems (remote monitoring and control), data compliance and security, digital architecture design, and innovative and robust digital solutions is desirable Experience with full software development cycle, from user experience, functional requirements, through productization to final deployment Min. 5-10 years of relevant experience in industry or similar role High-level proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must. Experience with offshore or remote systems is a plus. The nature of the role requires travelling, including Offshore site visits – approx. 30-60 days a year.
