Description

This is an evening/night position. Some weekend hours may be required. The individual selected for this position will be required to travel to our offices in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler and Phoenix. A valid Driver License, reliable transportation and insurance is required. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Overview:

The Janitorial Associate (JA) is primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across all physical properties owned or operated by Redemption Psychiatry (the practice). This position is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the office, including common spaces, bathrooms, and kitchens, are cleaned and sanitized to provide a safe and comfortable environment for employees and patients.

Main Responsibilities:

• The JA will have overall responsibility to maintain the cleanliness of office spaces, and furniture used by the practice. The JA will coordinate with each location manager as well as the Facilities Coordinator to achieve the optimal level of efficiency. Essentially, the JA should be able to personally perform any and all cleanliness responsibilities as required. Other duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, carpet cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchen areas, and other common areas throughout the office.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are adequately stocked.
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair issues.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
• Perform deep cleaning of high traffic carpet areas
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fulfill requests from management 
• Other duties as assigned

The JA will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of current practices, policies, and cleaning procedures. They will work under the direction of the Facilities Coordinator as part of the Administrative team.

Requirements:

• A successful JA embodies a combination of essential skills, qualities, and behaviors that contribute to their effectiveness in maintaining clean and sanitary office environments. The JA should have an attention to detail with the ability to take initiative by identifying areas that require cleaning or maintenance attention and taking the necessary steps to address them promptly. The JA must have reliable transportation to travel between all properties owned or operated by Redemption Psychiatry and must be Reliable and posses proper communication skills to communicate effectively with the office manager and the facilities coordinator. Other requirements include but are not limited to:
• Valid, unencumbered, Arizona Driver’s License (Class D ok)
• Background check (Must have clean background, will have access to all keys and cameras)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
• Ability to work evening shifts and travel between multiple office locations.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Reliable transportation to commute between offices.
• Must adhere to health and safety protocols
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Must be able to access high places and small spaces without difficulty
• Must pass all assessments with Proficiency
• Must speak, read, and write English
• Must achieve moderate proficiency in the use of a Windows Computer and Microsoft office products
• Must be able to use and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet shampooers
