Job Responsibilities

• Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards
• Extensive working knowledge of CAD and Sketchup software, to be able to prepare technical and 3D drawings efficiently.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards.
• Maintain a library of standard drawing templates.
• Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure CAD drawings are accurate according to customer specifications.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, and design team.

Requirements

2-year associate degree or 1-year certificate program in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)

Preferred

• American Design Drafting Association Certification
• Autodesk Certified Professional

This is a contract 1099 position. Weekly/Monthly workload will vary based on customer demand.
