- Position: Unarmed Security Guard supporting Nuclear Regulatory Commission

- Salary: Compensation on SCA covered Federal Contract consists of $17.20 Base pay $4.57 Health and Welfare for total pay rate of $21.77; for all hours worked up to 40 hours per week. Any time worked over 40 hours in the work week is paid at 1.5X the base pay rate.
- Room Protection:
- Conduct regular security checks of the specified room every hour.
- Verify the identity of all individuals entering or working in the room against the access list.
- Ensure that all security measures and protocols are strictly followed.
- Patrol Duties:
- Perform hourly patrols of the two designated floors.
- Monitor for any unusual activity or security breaches and report accordingly.
- Ensure that all emergency exits and pathways are clear and unobstructed.
- Logging and Reporting:
- Maintain an hourly log of all activities, including security checks and patrol observations.
- Document any incidents or irregularities encountered during the shift.
- Immediately contact the designated points of contact in the event of an incident.
- Hours:
- The Security Officer will work approximately 168 hours per week.
- Monday- Sunday 24 Hours a day.
- Uniform:
- All security personnel shall be in a uniform that is provided by the Contractor at all times while on duty.
- Security officers will be unarmed at all times during their shift.
- Communication:
- All Security Officers are required to have a cell phone to be able to communicate with USNRC personnel in case of incident.
- Guard Card
- 3 years of previous security experience preferred
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be in good physical condition, able to complete frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping.
