Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating guests efficiently while maintaining proper social distancing guidelines
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary

Experience:
- Previous experience using Aloha POS or similar restaurant POS systems is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Experience in the hospitality industry, such as hotels or restaurants, is a plus
