As a Cashier/Retail Associate at Redbird, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter while providing assistance to customers on the sales floor.

Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
• Scan and ring up merchandise accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station

Retail Associate Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide product information
• Restock shelves and ensure merchandise displays are neat and organized
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with receiving shipments
• Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
