Job Profile:

The Aviation Maintenance Apprentice Program is available in Bay City, WI. This is a full-time, permanent position available to individuals in our Aviation Maintenance Apprentice Program for training as an A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician. Our structured apprenticeship program offers comprehensive training with hands-on learning opportunities that will set you on the path to becoming a successful aviation maintenance technician.

Aviation Maintenance Apprentice Program:

As an Aviation Maintenance Apprentice at Red Wing Aviation, you will be immersed in our aviation maintenance program and processes. You will work alongside industry veterans and leaders in the aviation maintenance field who will provide you with focused and accelerated hands-on training. This position will assist Aircraft Mechanics in servicing and repairing aircraft. Through hands-on training you will assist aircraft mechanics with phase maintenance checks, service checks, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing the aircraft, and aircraft interior/exterior cleaning.

Apprentice Program Offerings:

Structured and comprehensive program with hands-on accelerated training
Work alongside industry leaders and mentors who are committed to your success
Apprenticeship toolbox provided on the first day of employment
A&P course support provided and cost reimbursement
Normal pay rate paid while attending course/exams
Upon successful completion of the program, employee moves to certified A&P Maintenance Technician position eligible for bonuses

Qualifications:

Experience with tools and be mechanically inclined
Experience preferred but not required
A valid US Driver’s License
The ability to read and interpret instructions from manuals
