Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Room Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms. The ideal candidate will ensure that our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay through impeccable room standards.
Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise the cleaning of hotel rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities
- Inspect rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure efficient room turnover
- Handle guest requests and complaints regarding room cleanliness promptly and professionally
- Do laundry.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and standards
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with housekeeping procedures in the hospitality industry
