Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and crafting beverages for our guests. We are currently only seeking help on Sunday evenings, with options for Thursday - Saturday night shifts when available.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Ensure accurate cash handling and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and drink recipes
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for retail calculations
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Food handling certification is an asset
