Red Oak Recovery (Leicester, NC) specializes in the treatment of young adult males, ages 18-30, and are a clinically dynamic, trauma intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment program. The leadership team of Red Oak Recovery is made up of recognized experts in the field of mental health who specialize in the integration of wilderness and experiential therapy, substance abuse, trauma, and mental health treatment. We are seeking a Primary Therapist who can provide individualized support to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their families Accurately assess clients and develop individualized treatment goals, using client input, and client strengths, abilities, needs and preferences Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to assist clients in overcoming challenges Produce assessments, treatment plans, and other records in a timely manner Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a treatment team Completes and uploads to EMR all documentation within one week of service or as indicated by supervisor; including pre-admission assessment, clinical assessment, treatment plan, weekly progress note, group note, discharge summary and transition plan.
