The Utility/Dishwasher Job Responsibilities:
- Cleans and stores all utensils, dishes, glasses, etc. for food service and food preparation.
- Removes trash from the kitchen.
- Maintains clean and sanitized floors.
- Maintains a clean and safe workstation throughout shift.
- Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area, as well as walk-in cooler and freezer.
- Reports any damage, plumbing, or other maintenance issues.
- Works effectively as a team with all departmental employees.
- Complies with departmental uniform and grooming standards.
- Works variety of shifts, as needed, to include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively.
- Must be willing and able to cross-train with other responsibilities.
- Standing and/or walking 100% of shift.
- Lifting, carrying or moving from 1 pound up to 50 pounds for 50% of shift.
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching for 85% of shift.
