• JOB DESCRIPTION : A Bartender is responsible for taking food and beverage orders; entering orders quickly and in proper sequence;
• serving food and beverages for guests at the bar and tables in the restaurant, if required; coordinating with the kitchen to ensure timely service and quality of the food;

and providing the highest quality of service to the customer at all times; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Takes food and beverage orders, places orders, delivers orders, checks back after delivery of food and beverage to ensure guest satisfaction, observes guests to respond to any additional needs
• Maintains bar and table appearance by pre-bussing, checks drink levels, removes clutter and provides adequate napkins, etc.
• Presents check for payment, processes payments, and provides change, as needed
• Stocks and organizes bar, as required
• Ensures friendly welcoming service at all times
• Process payments via POS register system
• Follows customer service, adult beverage, and cash handling policies and procedures
• Keeps assigned station clean, sets up and takes down station tables appropriately
• Any and all duties assigned by management

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
• Must have at least 6 months of closely related bartending / serving experience
• Work experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
• Must be able to pass required state food safety certification requirements
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (i.e. drug test, background check, etc)

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :

• Ability to read, write and speak English (multi-lingual a plus)
• Ability to understand, follow and give written and oral instructions
