Responsibilities

• Observing and reporting any changes in patient's conditions, such as changes in skin color, behavior, or appetite.
• Administering medications as directed by nursing staff.
• Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assisting with range-of-motion exercises and other physical therapy activities.
• Helping patients use medical equipment and devices, such as oxygen tanks or walkers.
• Communicating with patients and their families about their care plans and progress.
• Assisting with end-of-life care for patients who are terminally ill.
• Providing basic wound care, such as cleaning and dressing wounds.
• Providing patient education on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and self-care.
• Participating in interdisciplinary care team meetings to discuss patients' care plans and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• 18 years of age or older
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Possession of current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is highly preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness - able to lift at least 50 lbs when required
• Willingness to undergo training as required.
