General Duties

• Responsible for basic services/ADLs such as bathing, grooming, feeding and checking patient vital signs.
• Assists patients to ensure their cleanliness, grooming, nourishment, rest, activity, and elimination in a manner conducive to the patient's comfort & safety.
• Provides vital information on patient conditions to nurses
• Preserve the dignity & self-respect of all patients at all times
• Practice confidentiality about the patients & nursing care activities
• Promptly answer call lights
• Keep written notes of specific assignments & records pertinent information about the patients.
• Assists with serving meals, feeding residents and meal documentation
• Makes rounds on assigned residents at the beginning of each shift and at least every hour thereafter.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or a GED required
• Willingness to attend training when necessary
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• 18 years old and above
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Compassionate, trustworthy and loves helping people
• Physically fit to perform tasks that require lifting or transferring patients
• Ability to work well with others under pressure and with minimal supervision
