• Assures all slot software in active machines in approved and compliant.
• Develops and implements an effective strategy for growth and efficiency of operations in the Slot Department
• Monitors all gaming equipment, signs, progressives, displays, bill validators, lights, LED’s, etc. for proper working order..
• Regularly reviews and evaluates slot maintenance departmental performance, working through department heads to take appropriate steps in resolving unsatisfactory results or conditions.
• Assures the smooth and effective operation of all slot maintenance operations and implements machine compliance with approved property policy and rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission.
• Assists in conducting periodic review of all machines for profitability and player appeal making any immediate changes as necessary.
• Coordinates slot machine moves with slot manufacturers and appropriate in house personnel, and interacts with all slot vendors.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of all departmental training programs in the Maintenance Division.
• Maintains records of reel percentage sheets as required by the Gaming Commission and the property’s Finance Department.
• Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to his/her span of control.
• Sets priorities for Slot Tech Supervisors providing guidance and assistance as needed.
• Maintains appropriate staffing levels in the department, by interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and terminating team members, as needed.
• Develops, administers, and manages the budget for slot maintenance.
• Through observation, evaluation, and preventative maintenance schedules, keeps all equipment in a functional state of repair.
• Monitors the performance of all outside services and the execution of all maintenance contracts.
• Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, team members, management, and other departments.
• Assures effective communication with slot audit and regulatory agencies such as GLI, Eclipse, BMM, Etc.
• Directly supervises all Gaming Technician Supervisors, Gaming Project Supervisor, Senior Technicians, Gaming Technicians and Gaming Bench Technicians.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• College degree and three or more years of gaming maintenance management experience required; or candidates must possess at least six years of relevant management experience with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability. Experience relevancy will be determined by the hiring team.
• Superior computer skills and proficiency in Windows applications required.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
