The Red Hat Products Organization is looking for a highly motivated Product Management Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA. You'll have the opportunity to join one of the following teams:
Ansible Product Management Team
OpenShift Product Management Team
RHEL Product Management Team
As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and gain experience on the technical side, and you will be interacting with a broader team both locally and globally. The Product Manager (PM) role, is a crucial role within an organization responsible for guiding the development, strategy, and lifecycle management of a product. The PM works with cross-functional teams to ensure the product's success.

The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Emerging Talent Team, and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your summer at Red Hat.
Work closely with your manager and mentor to learn to:
Collect and document input from Red Hat technology users, customers, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and requirements.
Execute and develop a competitive analysis through researching competitive solutions and documenting their relative strengths and weaknesses.
Develop and prioritize and document requirements, epics, and user stories for new releases of our offerings.
Collaborate with engineering teams and other stakeholders to design, develop, and enhance software to solve business problems.
Coordinate with your peers to ensure collaboration and consistency in all we do.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and learn new tools.
Willingness to learn new things and proactivity working as a part of a wider team.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of the product development lifecycle and methodology
Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in a related major.

Learn new technologies, such as; Google Workspace, Jira, Slack
