Red Hat Learning & Careers team is seeking a data scientist who will construct and manage a sensing strategy for learning, leveraging predictive analysis and data sets. You will be at the forefront of expanding learning data intelligence efforts and responsible for generating actionable insights that will inform and determine learning experiences for now and into the future. You are driven by the numbers and also approach your work with an agile and transformative mindset.

What you will do

• Develop predictive models to support consultative work of LXMs and Role Architects (RA) sensing learning needs of targeted audiences.
• Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
• Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
• Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
• Consult with stakeholders and collaborate with data analysts in learning space to identify marketing data needs and develop useful information aimed at answering key business questions.
• Advise on interpretation of learning data and provide insights, observations, and recommendations.
• Partner with Learning Platform Managers (LPM) to provide requirements for additional data integrations and or addition of data elements to the L&C unified data store.
• Data Stewardship to manage access, quality, and appropriate use and interpretation of all learning data in the learning ecosystem.
