Red Hat on the River, a bustling 120 seat riverfront restaurant in Irvington, NY, is seeking an experienced Server to join our team.
Our candidates must have/be:
- 3 years of restaurant server experience
- Required availability - Sunday
- Some Flex availability - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
- Able to work well within a team
- Willing to learn and follow directions (we are very detail oriented)
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
SERVER ... Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Table service guest relations
- Communicate efficiently specials and menu ingredients to our guests
- Taking food & beverage orders in a smart, efficient, and friendly manner
- Communicating with and directing the bus team related to your station
- Report all guest issues to management
- Learn and follow all company policy (protocols, standards)
Useful skills:
- Highly skilled in mixology and wine/beer service
- Excellent memory
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Enthusiastic about teamwork
BARTENDING experience is a plus!
