Job responsibilities:

• Identify labor, material, costs and time requirements for various large-scale projects by researching proposals, blueprints, and any related documents.
• Collect different quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Gather and understand the client requirements from AMs and hold AMs accountable for gathering all the opportunity inquiry data from the clients.
• Put together quotes that will meet all the client requirements based on the data received from the AMs.
• Help the account managers with the timely submission of proposals to aid sales.
• Ensure different stages of the project follow the forecast plan as per the quote.
• Explore alternative products, materials, and vendors to meet the client budgets on projects while maximizing the profitability of the company.
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information when warranted.
• Adjust price lists and algorithms according to material & labor cost changes and industry trends.
• Safeguard credential pricing data and spreadsheet models.
• Continually work on establishing vendor network for new products and new markets as well as geographic expansion.
• Implement vendor onboarding process for any new vendors to ensure a good and sustainable vendor relationship.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a construction or sign project estimator.
• Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts.
• Deep knowledge of research methodology, data analysis, and estimation metrics.
• Comfortable with numbers and technology.
• Proficiency PM software tools like such as ShopVox.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD Drawings
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction science, or a relevant field preferred.
• Certification as a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar qualification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,645.92 - $63,401.54 per year
