Production Operative - Spot Weld
Reports to: Area Team Leader Department: Housing Cell
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Shift: Day Shift
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision and direction of the Area Team Leader, have the ability to work in Spot Weld/ Housing cell areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Completes tasks associated with Assembly or Fabrication job descriptions as assigned.
2. Exercise care of all tools, machines and equipment through proper use and storage.
3. Maintains clean work area including daily sweeping of floors, racking of tools, dies, guides and related equipment. 5S responsibilities.
4. With training and guidance, have the ability to build product to the specified rate.
5. Ability to multi-task
6. Ability to work at a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
7. Good attendance
8. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Desired QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with 5S practices
• Ability to follow safety rules.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read drawings
• Ability to program machines.
• Ability to use calipers, squares, and various other measurement devices.
• Operator must be able to stand for at least ten hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the floor.
• Ability to follow safety rules.
• Experience in a LEAN Manufacturing environment

Min: $20.00/hour
Mid: $22.50/hour
Max: $24.00/hour
