Summary: The Kids Director will advance the purpose and vision of RED Church through RED Kids. They will provide leadership to the RED Kids department to ensure effective and efficient operations and spiritual advancement. They will provide direction for age-appropriate Biblical instruction for all age levels birth through fifth grade and provide support to parents with kids at various life stages.

Purpose and Responsibilities:

• Create an amazing culture in Kids ministry that makes children want to drag their parents back to church.
• Effectively, excellently, consistently, and creatively provide Biblical communication of God’s truth from birth through fifth grade through effective curriculum and interactions.
• Able to identify, gather and equip leaders and coaches to serve effectively in RED Kids.
• Ensure lessons, videos, and all supporting materials are prepared weekly through Dream Team members.
• Lead the Kids ministry in health by championing our W.E. C.A.R.E. system.
• Recruit and develop, equip, and support DREAM Team Coaches, Leaders, and Members (volunteers) for thepurpose of growing spiritually and serving well in their giftings within RED Kids.
• Provide leadership in the development and management of the Kids ministry budget.
• Maintain consistent and regular communication with parents about all aspects of Kids ministry.
• Create and maintain a Kids ministry calendar of events that ensures regular training for Dream Team members.
• Coordinate the recruiting and scheduling of Dream Teamers for Sundays, LITE Meetings, RED Growth Track, andother events on an as-needed basis such as Trunk or Treat and Easter events.
• Advance the wins of Kids ministry, with the goal of hitting all wins and benchmarks.
• Maintain and uphold all safety policies and procedures for RED Kids.
• Champion the D.R.E.A.M. strategy through excellent worship experience for Kids (HONOR); intentionally connectingin community (CONNECT); discipling through smaller groups (GROW); equipping kids for serving (LOVE); and gettingkids excited for outreach/evangelism (IMPACT).
• Actively participate in praying for the children, their parents, and the lost.
• Create a summer camp level of excitement as the Sunday morning experience in RED Kids.
• Other duties as assigned by the Pastoral Staff.

Education:

• High School/GED Equivalent ?Required ?Preferred
• College ?Required ?Preferred
• Other certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.

All-Staff Expectations

• Member of RED Church and attend church weekly, as well as consistent tithing and serving.
• Demonstrate high-level leadership and protect the unity of the church.
• Maintain a lifestyle consistent with biblical standards for Christian behavior.
• Develop annual ministry goals, plans, strategies, and event calendars for ministry area responsibilities.
• Participate in staff meetings, yearly retreats, training, church events, prayer meetings, and small groups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
