As a Red Barn Lead for Gozzer Ranch you will be part of creating the Gozzer Ranch Experience. You may be asked to perform other tasks (outside of your key areas of responsibility) from time to time based on business needs. Key Area #1: Member Experience and Vibe

  • Greet our member and member guests promptly upon arrival
  • Always provide our member and member guests prompt and professional service
  • Exceed member and member guest expectations

  • Give personal attention and take personal responsibility for a member and member guest experience

Key Area #2: Teamwork

  • Work intentionally to include all co-workers
  • Support Camp Counselor team and Gozzer Young Members on a daily basis
  • Create good working relationships with ALL Gozzer Employees
  • Maintain a courteous attitude toward ALL Gozzer Employees Key Area #3: Red Barn
  • Oversee all payroll related items for your staff (new hire paperwork, employee discipline, terminations and daily time clock approvals)
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Uphold the Club’s policies and procedures both personally and with your staff
  • Direct/motivate your staff to engage the membership and promote the family friendly lifestyle of Gozzer Ranch
  • Ensure all Club assets at the Red Barn and Fitness Pavilion are used with the best interest of the Club
  • Write a staff schedule within your budget and the appropriate daily coverage
  • Keep daily records of usage of the Club facilities and report needed charges to the Outdoor Pursuits office daily
  • Support and assist other departments when needed facility wide
  • Assists other Outdoor Pursuits staff in planning and implementing Club events when Barn services are required
  • Opening and closing of Club facilities seasonally

Key Area #3: Kid’s Camp

  • Assist the Lead Camp Counselor with payroll related items for the camp staff (new hire paperwork, employee discipline, terminations and daily time clock approvals)
  • Collaborate with the Lead Camp Counselor in the creation of the Camp calendar.
  • Contact OP vendors and schedule summer activities for Kid’s Camp
  • Create new booking sheets and online calendars linking Kid’s Camp and Red Barn activities to the Club Concierge
  • Update and change the Kid’s Camp schedule for meal service and communicate daily changes to the Food and Beverage department
  • Keep daily records of usage and report needed charges to the Outdoor Pursuits office daily
  • Ensure the Camp facilities are clean, safe and kept to the Club standards
  • Work with the Lead Camp Counselor on any behavioral concerns from the children and talk with the parents on a regular basis on the overall direction of the Camp program
  • Manage the rental vans for Camp and ensure they are cleaned, safe and stocked for daily use

Key Area #5: Fitness

  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events lead by the Director of Member Services and Fitness Instructors
  • Oversee the daily opening and closing procedures of the fitness center, tennis courts and pickleball area
  • Make sure all outlets are kept in a clean, safe environment and up to the standards of the Club
  • Order, inventory and maintain a back stock of needed supplies for all the locations
  • Provide support for all Fitness Classes with coordination, set up and attendance as needed with the help of the Attendants, Fitness Instructors and Director of Member Services
  • Oversee all payroll related items for your staff (new hire paperwork, employee discipline, terminations and daily time clock approvals)

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • Prior Kids Camp/Teaching experience, preferred
  • Must have strong knowledge on how to direct a room of young people
  • Must have strong knowledge on child safety and wellbeing
  • Comply with Idaho State Health and Wellness regulations
  • Must good organization and leadership skills
  • Possess basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively with all personality types
  • Ability to understand and carry-out verbal and written instructions independently
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, morning, and nights
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures to include inside and outside areas
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis independently or with help
  • Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carrying.
