Description

Job Summary: The maintenance handyman assists with all Residential Services Preventative Maintenance Program aspects. This includes opening homes for the summer, completing various handyman projects, winterizing homes in the fall, and completing cold-weather home checks in the winter. The Handyman will also provide vendors access to homes enrolled in the Preventative Maintenance Program and assist with the preparation of rental homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Turnkey Home Maintenance
• Winterizing homes in the fall and opening homes in the spring includes:
• Setting HVAC systems
• Replacing light bulbs and batteries
• Turning on/off the water heater
• Turning on/off appliances
• Testing A/V systems
• Turning on/off fireplaces
• Opening/closing curtains
• Placing/storing patio furniture
• Placing/cleaning garbage cans
• Connecting/disconnecting hoses
• Turning on/off water
• Removing/placing trickle chargers
  Handyman Projects
• Assist with the preparation of rentals
• Perform general handyman tasks that may be accomplished in-house. Including:
• A/V
• HVAC
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Drywall
• Painting
• Picture hanging
• Furniture assembly and moving
• Troubleshoot nonfunctioning appliances and systems, i.e., water heaters and Wi-Fi routers
• Provide access to outside vendors
• Provide billing for services by tracking labor and material expenses
