• Red Barn Pet Ranch is looking for a lead tech to help complete our team!

We are looking for POSITIVE, OUTGOING team players. You must be responsible, ON TIME, and show initiative. Reliability is key!

As a Red Barn lead technician your daily duties will include but are not limited to:

• daily feeding and medicating the dogs in our care with a keen attention to detail.
• providing a constant sourse of fresh clean water inside and out.
• monitoring and maintaining a safe environment in playgroup for all guests demonstrating a solid understanding of dog behavior and body language.
• completing a set of daily chores and tasks to include: dishes, laundry, disinfecting and cleaning of guests runs, disinfecting and maintaing outdoor play equipment, raking and disinfection of turfed yards, pooper scooping, removing trash, dusting , sweeping and being responsible for a well maintained indoor and outdoor space.
• greeting clients with a positive attitude (Red Barn has the BEST clients and were very grateful that were so lucky), supporting manager/owner with a positive, efficient process for checking our guests in and out.
• bathing, expressing glands, cutting nails , cleaning ears and brushing out dogs prior to check out.
• immediately contacting owner or manger with any concerns re:the well being of the animals in your care.
• must be able to work outside in the elements. Lift and carry 50 lb feed bags. Work with dogs and cats and all types of livestock and horses. Muck stalls, fill water troughs and hay feeders.

Red Barn loves to see our guests happy and that includes losts of outdoor playtime! You must be prepared and willing to spend extended periods of time outdoors with the dogs in all types of weather.

The job is physically demanding and you must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs, move large equipmentand handle all types, breeds, sizes and temperments of dogs.

Above all else you must be HONEST, compassionate, timely and a forward thinker. You must have a passion for dogs and recognize that a relationship with a dog is the best relationship to be had!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
