ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform routine and preventive maintenance property wide Work daily with personal hand tools and company owned power tools Complete work orders as assigned through computer-based program in a timely manner Effectively communicate details of work orders and follow-up through to completion Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs Ensure customer satisfaction Follow lawful direction from Upper Management Understand and follow work and safety rules and procedures Interact well with others and be a positive influence on Team Member morale Responsible for adhering to all company and departmental policies and standards Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of building maintenance Knowledge and experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools Working knowledge of plumbing repairs, familiar with soldering, brazing and drain cleaning equipment Working knowledge of electrical repairs, able to change outlets, GFCIs, switches, light fixtures and repair light fixtures, able to read wiring schematics Able to read blueprints Working knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems to include change a/c filters, clean condensing fans, clean coils, read gauges, and temperatures accurately and understand principles, able to thread and install gas pipe, and familiar with the fundamentals of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration Basic boiler knowledge Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Must be flexible, detail oriented, able to prioritize and able to multi-task effectively Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple distractions and meet timelines Must uphold appearance standards Ability to problem solve and strategize for better solutions Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School graduate or equivalent Must be 21 years old One (1) year experience, preferably in a Hotel/Casino environment PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
