JOB TITLE: Staff AccountantDEPARTMENT: Accounting PAY CLASS: Full-Time ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Completing monthly close process, heavy GL reconciliations, preparing journal entries, month-end accruals and reviewing accounts payable invoices.Assist accounting managers with special projects.Fixed asset experience preferred, including tracking CIP and related project costs to budget, running depreciation reports, fixed asset additions and reconciling system reports to the general ledger.We are looking for a self-starter that wants to learn and grow within the accounting department.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business or related field. 3 years of experiencing in accounting.Software experience includes NetSuite, Opera, and intermediate Excel skills.PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.Tasks performed from a sitting position.
