Job Summary:

You will be exposed to the various facets of our Company’s Design Department. As a result, you will learn how the team works cross-functionally with the rest of the company. You will have the opportunity to be a part of our brand and walk away with the knowledge of the inner workings of a Design department in a fashion company.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Designers with sketches and boards
• Working with the Tech and Logistics team to organize samples
• Support in creating inspiration boards
• Provide general support to the Design team
• Other assignments/projects as needed

Desired Background:

• Must be a full-time undergraduate, preferences are generally given to rising Juniors or Seniors

Experience:

• Demonstrated academic leadership or extra-curricular activity preferred
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with a proactive mindset and strong work ethic

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills; meticulous and organized with excellent follow-up skills
• Must be highly self-motivated with strong sense of urgency
• Must be a team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and basic knowledge of Adobe programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong time management and ability to multi-task priorities
• Meticulous attention to detail and organized with excellent follow up skills
• Must be a team player and be able to work well within a small team environment
• Must be flexible, positive, engaged, responsible, creative and willing to continually learn with the potential and desire to assume increased responsibility.
• Demonstrate a passion for the global luxury fashion space, trends and the consumer experience.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position in New York City is $18.00 hourly; base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
