iX is looking for a Biz Ops professional to drive operational efficiencies across the business, collaborating closely within and across business groups and functions. Ensure the business performance is in line with our company goals and core values: Think People Before Profit, Open Source Trailblazers, Bootstrapped Mindset, and Pursue Kaizen.

This individual will be a quick learner who demonstrates strong leadership, independent thinking, possesses organizational expertise, is an excellent cross-functional communicator, and has a passion for data-driven solutions & strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Point person for ingesting and architecting a wide range of business solutions
• Scope the business projects for approval and transition to Dev Ops for execution
• Analyze current business processes & metrics, define business problems, and develop solutions for improvement
  • This includes automation of business processes and reduction of manual tasks
• Optimize the flow of value from idea to end user
  • Make the delivery of value more efficient and effective
• Architect new business development tools and facilitate the inter-departmental deployment of scalable systems
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including resource and man-hour requirements
• Establish a timeline, set milestones, provide clear goals for contributing departments and develop processes to facilitate collaboration
• Project manage and directly oversee the implementation, deployment, and integration of solutions, taking responsibility for their successful release and delivery
• Develop, modify, and implement policies, rules, business forms, and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members on system deployments and procedures
• In collaboration with IT Dev team, tackle projects tied to the iX ecosystem (Security, Managed Services, Support Services, Telecommunications, Business Continuity)

Requirements

•  Ability to identify and develop solutions to complex problems from a strategic, operational and customer perspective
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pose complex strategic decisions for business leaders with clarity and precision
• Position will bridge the gap between development, testing, change management and support teams to increase the flow of planned work while maintaining quality, reliability, and scalability
• Successful candidate will be highly structured, analytical, with great attention to detail
• Must be a data-driven individual connecting business and technology functions together
• Able to synthesize large variety of requirements from different IT stakeholders, convert into a roadmap, steering change with a high focus on execution

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience in business operations and/or program management
• Experience working with business intelligence applications (SAP, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.)
• Strong self-initiative and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to deliver commitments on time
• Experienced working cross functionally with strong leadership skills

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
