The Senior IT Auditor will assist in planning, organizing, leading, and executing the daily activities of IT internal audits and advisory projects to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, IT project implementations, business processes, and related policies. This position serves as the audit advisor supporting Company’s cybersecurity program, ensuring each affiliate company maintains effective controls and continuously improves systems and policies in all cybersecurity domains. You will lead with a digital mindset in supporting Company’s strategy to automate controls testing and monitoring, where applicable. Additionally, you will assist the Technology Audit team in overseeing IT audit processes, enforcing audit documentation quality standards, and providing IT audit support to the North American audit region and beyond.

This position requires frequent contact and communication with subsidiaries throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan. The position requires regular subsidiary site visits for performance of controls testing, understanding of subsidiary operations, and to interface with management at all levels throughout the companies.

Principal Responsibilities

•Assist with the planning and implementation of the internal audit initiative.

•Assist in the execution of the risk-based internal audit initiative that dynamically focuses on cybersecurity issues across each subsidiary.

•Assist with the development and establishment of corporate-wide policies.

•Regular visits to subsidiaries to perform cybersecurity control testing and other internal audit procedures.

•Assist in IT-related audits and projects.

•Participate in ad-hoc and special projects with the broader Internal Audit team.

•Effectively communicate gaps in the control environment and suggested remediation activities to subsidiary management.

•Provide management with appropriate information and recommendations on improvements to the effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment.

•Responsible for staying abreast of changes to cybersecurity standards and providing continuous improvement to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Technology Audit program.

Degree & Experience Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, MIS, or Business.

•CISA, CISSP, or other similar certification preferred with 3 years of experience.

Job Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

•Working knowledge of the ISO 27001, ISO 27002, and NIST frameworks as well as an understanding of COSO and COBIT.

•Experience with cybersecurity practices and domains, as well as a strong knowledge of IT Audit focus areas.

•Understanding of internal control concepts and familiarity with JSOX or SOX.

•Experience with AuditBoard and/or other audit management software is a plus.
