Job Title: Machine Operator for Encapsulation, 2nd Shift.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday 3pm-11:30pm with occasional overtime.
Will train on first shift for the first two months. Those hours are 7am-330pm, Mon-Fri.

Job Description:
RecruitGigs is seeking a dedicated machine operator to join our growing team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the running of an encapsulation machine. We are in search of an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses an exceptional eye for detail. NOTE: If you are willing to learn, our client is willing to train.
Responsibilities:
1. Must have the ability to read, follow detailed Batch Production Record instructions and fill out documents.
2. Set up and operate equipment; if needed, adjust settings during operation.
3. Disassemble and reassemble equipment i.e. perform mold changes.
4. Verification of equipment settings and molds before encapsulation.
5. Perform in-process checks until the batch is complete i.e. fill weight, etc.
6. Collect and weigh capsule yields into containers using platform bench scales.
7. Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and set up manufacturing/processing equipment as needed.
8. Execute additional duties or projects as required.
9. Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
10. Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
11. Consistently follow GMPs and procedures at all work stages while upholding a clean and safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Proficiency in English language, including reading, writing, and communication.
2. Competency in mathematical calculations.
3. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
4. Previous experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is advantageous.
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team.
6. Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
7. Efficient task completion within specified timeframes.
8. Willingness to work overtime as required.
Physical Demands:
1. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
2. Flexibility to bend, squat, kneel, balance, turn, and stoop.
3. Ability to maintain a standing posture throughout the shift with repetitive motion.
4. Utilization of GMP-required garments and safety equipment as specified by SOPs and GMPs.
5. Strong eye/hand coordination.
6. Comfortable with climbing ladders and stairs.
