Local HVAC contractor is Hiring an Accounting Assistant!

We are looking for a dynamic Service Dispatcher / Schedule Coordinator to join our team! This position is the initial contact to our clients, customers, and plays a vital role through providing administrative support.

Job Title: Service Dispatcher / Schedule Coordinator

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Work Type: Full Time

Location: Steger IL.

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience

What you will be doing:

• Answering incoming calls
• Scheduling service calls & dispatching service technicians
• We use Service Titan for our dispatching
• Maintaining customers database with current information
• Calling customers with lead time for service
• Logging warranties and rebates
• Preparing service invoices / AP
• Working independently and as team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Skills:

• 2 years related experience in dispatching and schedule coordinating
• A clear and professional speaking voice
• Ability to type 40 WPM with accuracy
• Data entry, filing, and other general office duties
• Accounts payable experience
• Experienced with MS Outlook, MS Office Suite, specifically Word & Excel
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced with cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, customers, technicians, and co-workers
• Must be able to work independently and as a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass background check & drug screen
