Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large (200 beds), 4-star rated Skilled Nursing Home in the Bronx, NY area that is seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian for direct hire. The Dietitian will be responsible to provide nutritional care for residents. The successful candidate will be a certified RD and have at least 1 year working in a Skilled Nursing Home with experience assessing, evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of dietary care plans with the goal of providing high quality of care. Additionally, the RD will have great communication skills to work effectively with Medical and interdisciplinary teams, residents and families.

Requirements:

• At least 1 years’ experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities
• Must be a Registered Dietitian.
• Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules and regulations for Skilled Nursing Homes
• Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments;
• Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans
• Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation
• Excellent communication skills
