Recruit Secure is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner - Skilled Nursing Facility-PA Near Philadelphia, PA

Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large and growing Medical Group that is seeking a caring Nurse Practitioner for a large and beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Philadelphia, PA for direct hire. The Medical Group's goal is to work hand in hand with the SNF to improve the quality of care, increase patient satisfaction, and reduce hospitalization rates. The selected Nurse Practitioner will have Skilled Nursing Home experience and will be responsible for a continuum of quality patient care and rehabilitation to their patients. The Nurse Practitioner will work with the Medical Director and nursing staff of the facility but report directly to the Medical Group. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary, generous PTO, and other benefits and perks.
Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct routine check-ups/examinations on patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions
  • Collects, records, and manages accurate patient information in the EMR system
  • Documents items such as past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies assessment and care plan
  • Prescribe and interpret lab and imaging tests to obtain more information about underlying infections or abnormalities
  • Administer or prescribe treatments
  • Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene, etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health
  • Consult with appropriate medical specialists when necessary; refer the patient to a subspecialist within the network
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients
  • Remain up-to-speed with developments and best practices in medicine by attending conferences and seminars
Qualifications:
  • Current Pennsylvania License as a Nurse Practitioner
  • National Board Certified
  • American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • EMR/EHR experience
