Recruit Secure is collaborating with a beautiful Skilled Nursing Home located in Queens, NY that is seeking an HR Coordinator for direct hire. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day duties of the Human Resources department including supporting employee programs, the orientation of new employees, maintaining and auditing employee files, resignations, time-off, and meeting healthcare regulatory compliance. Additionally, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for Staffing Coordination, developing and maintaining monthly shift schedules for the nursing staff to ensure staffing levels are adequate to meet daily patient care needs. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of operations within Nursing Homes enjoy supporting employees and should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills. Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in HR ( in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility.
• 1-2 years experience working in a Skilled Nursing Home ...a must
• Familiar with SBV or other scheduling software
• Maintain and update the scheduling database and HR files (HRIS)
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
