VIRTUAL CARE COORDINATOR

Recovia is seeking a full-time VIRTUAL CARE COORDINATOR to be based at our Midtown Phoenix Clinic/Corportate Headquarters. Recovia is an integrated outpatient treatment program to treat the whole person. We provide chronic pain, mental health, and substance use treatment - all under one roof. We are looking for someone who is interested in or has a passion for health/wellness, exercise wellness, psychology/behavioral health, physical therapy, pre-med, nursing, etc., and wants to expand their skillsets! We are looking for an eager individual who is passionate about helping people and is willing to learn and grow personally and professionally to join our team!

HOURS: FULL-TIME Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour for lunch) - Hours cannot be changed
LOCATION: IN-PERSON, Midtown Phoenix Clinic. Address: 337 E Coronado Rd #201, Phoenix, AZ 85004 (Cross streets are 7th Street and McDowell)
PAY: $18.00 - 20.00/HOUR ($20.00/hour max. Based on experience and expectation combined) - Pay range cannot be changed
Expected start date: ASAP
*This is NOT a work from home position
This is an in-person position, but you will be assisting our virtual care patients - via phone and email

Job Summary

Our Virtual care Coordinator position is vital in ensuring all of our Virutal Care patients receive the best experience and outcome possible by serving as a supportive resource that helps guide the patient through the Recovia program, navigating program barriers for clients, answering questions, and identifying any care problems with the clinic team. Serves as a point of contact for patients and third-party affiliates that are participating in the Recovia virtual care program. Performs a wide range of administrative duties to include answering phones, scanning, medication preauthorization’s, preparing patient paperwork and consent forms, completing oral screen, all via a virtual care platform.

Essential Functions

  • Collect oral swab samples from patients via virtual platform and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Work with Patient Relations Coordinator to answer telephones, relay messages, and make reminder calls
  • Verify patient information by receipt of paperwork via electronic system
  • Prepare medical consent forms for inductions, injections, prescribed medications, etc
  • Educate patients by providing medication, information, and instructions, obtaining authorizations, and answering questions regarding program.
  • Track and submit Optum Authorization Forms for Physical Therapy
  • Enter patient information within Dxscript system.
  • Call all new patients before their appointment with the goal of getting them live on the phone so you can introduce yourself as their go to resource, answer program questions, give directions to location verify length of appointment, and ensure a great experience.
  • Call all new patients the day after their initial evaluation to see how their experience was and revisit expectations of the program. On this call answer questions, field any concerns or barriers to the program like time commitment or financial if they haven’t been in contact with billing prior.
  • Help patients understand financial responsibilities and answer benefit questions.
  • Bi-Weekly Active Care patient check-ins (phone/email communication)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Associates degree or two years of relevant experience
  • Medical Assisting background, patient care experience and/or Behavioral Health experience
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork orientation
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Tech savvy
  • Good judgement
  • Resourcefulness in problem solving
  • Able to take and follow through with delegated tasks and accountability
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs
