PATIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR

Recovia, LLC is seeking a PATIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR to be based at our Mesa Baywood Clinic. Recovia is an integrated outpatient treatment program to treat the whole person. We provide chronic pain, mental health, and substance use treatment - all under one roof. We have 7 locations across Phoenix, 2 in Tucson, and virtual care statewide. We are looking for someone who is interested in or has a passion for health/wellness, exercise wellness, psychology/behavioral health, physical therapy, pre-med, nursing, etc., and wants to expand their skillsets! We are looking for an eager individual who is passionate about helping people and is willing to learn and grow personally and professionally to join our team!

HOURS: FULL-TIME - Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1 hour for lunch)
LOCATION: Recovia Mesa: 6553 E Baywood Ave 209, Mesa, AZ 85206
PAY: $18.00 - 20.00/hour (based on experience and expectation combined)

This is a full-time on-site position. Hours and pay range cannot be changed.

RESPONSIBILITIES of PATIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for patients and third-party affiliates that are participating in the Recovia program as well as performs a wide range of administrative and clinical duties directly related to clinic
  • Greeting and checking in/out patients
  • Organizes and oversees daily scheduling for patient program flow (cancelling, rescheduling, relaying messages, reminder calls, etc.)
  • Communicates daily scheduling changes, charting, and documentation needs to the appropriate provider
  • Handles coordination and planning for active program patients
  • Explains policies, procedures, and program services to patients, answering patient questions and concerns
  • Oversees and performs new patient program orientation
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects

SKILLS FOR PATIENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (not required) or 2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience with patient interaction, medical scheduling experience, and EMR systems required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Microsoft platforms experience required
  • Positive attitude, charismatic, energetic
  • Comfortable with in-person and virtual interaction and communication with a wide variety of audiences
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy
