Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay is Hiring an Intake and Volunteer Coordinator Near Fort Myers, FL

Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential home repairs at no cost to individuals in need across 20 counties spanning Tampa Bay, Southwest Florida, and Central Florida regions. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an intake and volunteer coordinator.

Position Overview:
The Intake and Volunteer Coordinator is a multifaceted role responsible for managing various aspects of client interaction and volunteer coordination for Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB). This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can effectively oversee intake processes, maintain client communication, manage volunteer recruitment and engagement, and contribute to program operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Interaction

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering support and guidance throughout the application and approval process.
  • Receive, review, and process client applications, conducting phone assessments as needed.
  • Coordinate initial site visits with project management staff and ensure completion of all necessary paperwork and agreements.
  • Assist with Salesforce record keeping and data
  • Maintain accurate client records and comply with contract requirements.

2. Program Operations:

  • Assist with client communication and coordination, including application processing and status updates.
  • Contribute to home-selection and interview processes, assessing home-repair needs

3. Volunteer Coordination

  • Develop and maintain a master schedule of volunteers, coordinate recruitment efforts, and manage volunteer databases.
  • Recruit, train, and communicate with volunteer groups and individuals, participating in volunteer fairs and community events as needed.
  • Coordinate volunteer orientation and training sessions, matching volunteers to available projects based on their skills and interests.
  • Oversee volunteer appreciation activities.

4. Community Engagement:

  • Represent RTTB at volunteer and community events, actively seeking new partnerships and volunteer resources.
  • Utilize social media and other outreach channels to engage with the community and promote volunteer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with RTTB's Marketing Director to manage outreach efforts and update the website for community notifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in volunteer coordination/management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, or similar CRM software
  • Willingness to work Saturdays as needed.
  • Ability to articulate RTTB's mission and programs effectively to the community and potential volunteers.
