We’re looking for a store manager to lead our café at Manhattan Village! The ideal candidate has outstanding customer service skills, a team player, and loves coffee. The manager will monitor inventory, ordering, create weekly schedules, and lead by example.

Reborn Coffee was founded in 2014 in Brea, California. We are a specialty roastery and family of cafés dedicated to excellence and quality.

Responsibilities

• Managing vendor orders, cost control, sales and labor monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness of the cafe.
• Creating a weekly schedule for cafe staff.
• Providing team with valuable feedback to grow and develop internal talent.
• Grow the local community by engaging with neighboring businesses and local events.
• Greet and interact with all customers providing everyone with an excellent experience in our stores.
• Maintain a positive demeanor in a busy environment where multi-tasking, cleaning, and effective communication are requirements.
• Prepare coffee & tea menu, and prepare food menu according to our standards
• Maintain coffee and food knowledge on current offerings and confidently and accurately communicate product information to customers.
• Properly handle and maintain all coffee brewing equipment.
• Follow cash handling, cash register policies and procedures. Ensure correct change and drops are recorded
• Communicate with team members and management to solve problems and improve service.

Requirements

• Previous barista/customer service experience, previous management required
• California Food Handler Card
• High School diploma required, college degree preferred
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation

Work Environment

The surrounding area features restaurants and retail stores within a shopping mall. Work is fast-paced and requires standing and walking up to 6~8 hours at a time. Store busyness will vary depending on day, time of day, and season. The morning and lunch rush will require expeditious and attentive service.
