Overview:

Rebirth Enhancement Services, in partnership with The Damon Crowdy Foundation, a community-based nonprofit, is committed to empowering individuals and enhancing their quality of life through comprehensive mental health care. We are seeking a dedicated Youth Program Coordinator for our Wellness Wonderland Summer Program. This role is pivotal in managing logistical aspects and ensuring smooth operations of our transformative summer program for children aged 5 to 17. The coordinator will support activities that align with our philosophy of resilience, functional restoration, and community integration.

Responsibilities:

Program Schedule:

• Days: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM (to include before and after care responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Coordination: Oversee daily activities, ensuring the program runs smoothly and aligns with our mental health care standards. Manage the setup and breakdown of activity spaces and coordinate the distribution of materials.
• Participant Engagement: Create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, fostering engagement and participation among children.
• Safety and Well-being: Monitor the safety of all participants, addressing health and safety concerns promptly.
• Communication: Serve as the primary contact for participants and parents, keeping them informed and involved in decision-making processes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with therapists and other staff to deliver integrated care that promotes participant well-being.
• Documentation and Feedback: Maintain records of program activities and gather feedback to enhance program effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 year(s) proven experience in childcare, education, or program coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to empowerment, resilience, and community integration.
• Passion for child development and mental health.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
