Reason One is hiring! We are in search of a Digital Project Manager with digital agency experience.

Your role 

As Project Manager at Reason One, you’ll be managing dynamic projects and teams following an established process. You’ll put your expertise and problem solving skills to work every day, tackling a wide scope of responsibilities for small, medium and large scale clients. Good instinct for identifying risks is vital, and a curious, collaborative attitude is ideal. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain vital project artifacts during the entire project lifecycle such as project budget, timeline, resource plan, routine progress reports, and sign-off of various deliverables (e.g.: roadmaps, designs, requirements, launch approvals)
  • Enable multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver their best work
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget constraints
  • Ensure your assigned projects are properly resourced before every resourcing allocation meeting with your peers
  • Collaborate with other project managers to coordinate strategic resource distribution, and adapt to unforeseen demands
  • Identify and manage project issues and risks in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ensure scope roadmap and strategy are being followed. 
  • Provide clear and timely status reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with clients or Account Directors to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for strategic growth of the account
  • Work closely with Product owners to ensure the scope roadmap adheres to the budget and schedule. 
  • Foster an environment of transparency for the project team by ensuring all information is shared and accessible to all team members at any project stage

Our must haves 

  • 2 years of digital project management experience in a digital agency
  • Agile methodology experience and/or scrum training
  • Clear and assertive written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in an effective way
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills are essential
  • Ability to navigate and negotiate client asks, know when to advise and when to be flexible
  • Experience delivering projects on CMS platforms such as WordPress, Kentico, Kontent.ai, Contentful or similar
  • Working knowledge of PM software for client communication, resource management and task management such as Basecamp, Forecast.app, and JIRA or similar tools
  • In depth experience setting up, managing and reporting on budget status and profitability
  • Experience managing e-commerce, marketing, and website projects
  • Able to understand technical jargon and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members

Nice to haves 

  • Experience with composable stacks with headless platforms
  • Project management certifications or completion of project management training
  • Experience managing large-scale e-commerce, marketing, and website projects

The practicals

  • Location: This is a fully remote, work-from-home position. Candidates must be based in the US or Canada
  • Core working hours: 9 AM - 5 PM EST
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Reporting: This role reports to the Director of Digital Delivery Operations

Compensation package includes:

  • Annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 (USD) depending on experience
