RealTime Laboratories, Inc. is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Lewisville, TX
We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic experienced Staff Accountant who possesses strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve, and function as part of a team as well as being able to work independently. This position will handle general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Perform and assist with month-end and year end close accounting tasks including preparation of journal entries ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Post journal entries and categorize records in general ledger
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and statements
- Assist in preparation of supporting schedules for annual audit
- Set up vendors and purchase requisitions for departments
- Process AP invoices and prepare payments
- Assist billing team for customer statements and reconciliations
- Assist in establishing, improving, and documenting processes
- Any other accounting responsibilities that may be assigned as needed by the Company
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Understanding and knowledge of GAAP
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask with accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to problem solve
- Preferred System Experience: Sage Intacct, EBizCharge and MS Office
