SUMMARY

We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Submeter Maintenance experienced in submetering equipment and resident billing recovery methods while being able to influence the C-suite/decision makers to make capital investments to repair, replace or maintain their submetering infrastructure. He/She often proactively thinks of ways to generate revenue while understanding how the value translates to increased NOI. They will utilize skills, talent and influencing ability to build strong, collaborative partnerships based on trust and facts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Responsible and accountable for delivering financial performance against plan, historically around $6M annually with a 15% CAGR.
• Lead and mentor a team of high-performing service account engineers responsible for providing proactive meter repair, upgrade or recurring meter maintenance recommendations for our customers.
• Helps drive overall Submeter Team culture: ownership, collaboration & communication, data-driven, customer-centric, and continuous learning.
• Sets clear objectives and provide active coaching and performance feedback to ensure continuous growth and development.
• May lead up to two (2) strategic accounts that invest several hundred thousand dollars annually within our recurring meter maintenance product.
• Proactively supports RUM Strategic Account Managers to enhance client recovery through recommendations on repairs or additions of material to more accurately depict utility consumption to support ~$50MM or recurring revenue (RUM resident billing)
• Proactively evaluates clients’ utility expense recovery tied to submetering systems and regularly provides feedback and guidance to ensure optimum expense recovery for the client
• Compiles facts from on-site visits and various reports and databases to assess existing processes/practices, determine severity/frequency of problems, and identify solutions to address service needs.
• Actively participates in weekly or monthly client meetings to understand needs, review opportunities to support expense recovery and prepare a capital plan for next fiscal year investment (prepare, plan and execute).
• Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations.
