Analyst, Forensics and eDiscovery
Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Analyst for our Forensics and eDiscovery group, based out of our Madison, NJ headquarters! This position will work with the Manager, Forensics and eDiscovery and serve on the company’s Security Operations team responsible for cyber threat identification, investigation, and response. Join us!
The Analyst, Forensics and eDiscovery will handle requests for electronic data and digital forensic investigations related to litigation, regulatory matters, compliance, employee investigations, incident response, and cyber security events. The role will involve handling digital investigations, which includes collecting and analyzing data from electronic sources (laptops, desktops, infrastructure logs, application logs, network file servers, Microsoft 365, etc).
Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate and timely receipt, tracking, and response to Forensics and eDiscovery requests
Create and maintain Legal Holds within Microsoft 365
Conduct forensic examinations of electronic evidence, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and cloud data
Collect, document, transport, label, and secure digital evidence
Use forensic software applications to analyze collected data
Communicate complex technical matters with both internal and external colleagues within Information Security as well as our Legal, Human Resources, and other business groups
Prepare written findings of forensic examinations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field (Computer Science, Computer Security, Digital Forensics, etc)
Working knowledge of computer forensics tools such as EnCase, FTK, AXIOM, Cellebrite Inspector, Cellebrite 4PC/PA or suitable open-source tools
Experience in digital investigation report writing and presentations
Experience with eDiscovery and Content Searches within Microsoft 365 preferred
Experience with Scripting/Coding languages (Windows Powershell, shell scripts, C , Python, etc) preferred
Experience with Mac hardware and software preferred
Possessing one or more of the following certifications preferred: CCE, EnCE, ACE, GCFA, GASF, CFSR
