Overview: As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, organizational, and technical skills to successfully navigate the complexities of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and adherence to specifications.
  2. Budget Management:

    • Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
    • Monitor financial aspects of the project, identifying and addressing budget overruns or potential issues.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals, including project engineers, site supervisors, and support staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting effective communication and problem-solving.
  4. Quality Control:

    • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction meets industry standards and client expectations.
    • Address and resolve any issues related to construction quality promptly.
  5. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and codes.
  6. Client Relations:

    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing project updates, and managing expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
